What is an automatic gas geyser ignition system?
An automatic ignition system is a small electronic unit that lights your gas geyser for you. A normal geyser stays off once its pilot goes out; with Autopilot the burner is lit by an electronic spark as soon as gas is available, with no pilot needed.
In Pakistan the pilot goes out for reasons nobody controls: gas load shedding at night, low pressure in winter (especially at the tail end of the network), wind blowing down the flue, or neighbours running gas compressors. Each time, someone has to notice cold water, climb up to the geyser and relight it.

What is a gas geyser auto ignition kit?
It is an electronic unit added to an existing gas geyser that lights the burner automatically with a spark. When the flame goes out because of gas load shedding, low pressure or wind, the kit lights the geyser again as soon as gas is available, so nobody has to climb up with a lighter.
Will it work with my geyser?
It works with all gas geyser models that use the conventional unitrol-type gas thermostat (the Off, Pilot and On knob), which covers most storage geysers sold in Pakistan. Send your geyser brand and a photo of the thermostat and we will confirm.
Do I need a gas cylinder or a new geyser?
No. The kit uses your normal Sui gas supply and fits the geyser you already have. Nothing is changed on the gas main line.
