Auto ignition kit for gas geysers in Pakistan
The Autopilot kit gives your existing gas geyser automatic ignition, so it lights itself with an electronic spark after gas load shedding, low pressure or wind, with no pilot button to press. It works with gas geysers that use the conventional unitrol-type thermostat, runs on your normal Sui gas, and is delivered anywhere in Pakistan.
Who is the kit for?
- Homes where the pilot goes out during gas load shedding and someone has to relight it every day.
- Geysers on the roof, in a narrow shaft or above a false ceiling, where relighting is awkward or unsafe.
- Areas with low or unstable gas pressure in winter, especially the tail end of the SSGC and SNGPL networks.
- Families who want to stop leaving the geyser on all day and heat water only when they need it.
- Elderly parents or tenants who should not be climbing up to a geyser with a lighter.
Is my geyser compatible?
The kit works with all gas geyser models that use the conventional unitrol-type gas thermostat (a knob with Off, Pilot and On positions, often with a temperature dial). That describes most storage geysers made and sold in Pakistan, old or new.
Not needed for: instant (tankless) gas geysers that already light themselves with battery ignition, and fully electric geysers. If your geyser is badly corroded, leaking, or its thermostat has failed, repair or replace those first.

What is in the kit
- Gas controller: opens gas automatically, closes it automatically, with an emergency shut-off.
- Ignition controller: lights the burner with an electronic spark, so there is no pilot button to press.
- Programmable socket: stores up to 20 ON/OFF times so the geyser heats only when you want.
- Weather-proof box and high-density PVC protection for the electronics; magnets and brackets for fixing to the geyser.
What you need
- A working gas geyser with a conventional unitrol-type gas thermostat.
- A 220V power socket near the geyser. The kit uses about 5 watts.
- A plumber to fit it. Our step-by-step video means your regular local plumber can do the job.
- Optional: a Wi-Fi switch (such as SONOFF) to control the geyser from your phone.

Kit or a new geyser?
A new dual gas and electric geyser or an electric geyser also solves cold water during gas cuts, but you pay for a whole new appliance and installation, and electricity usually costs more than Sui gas for heating water.
