The Autopilot kit is fitted by a plumber, and our step-by-step video means your regular local plumber can do it. It attaches to the geyser with magnets or the supplied brackets, works with the geyser’s own thermostat, and nothing is changed on the gas main line. Three rules before you touch any geyser
- If you smell gas, do not light anything or switch electrics. Ventilate, close the gas valve and call a technician.
- Turn the geyser knob to Off and close the gas valve before working near fittings.
- Never block the flue or air openings, and never run a gas geyser in a closed room without a flue to the outside.
