Will an auto ignition kit fit my gas geyser?
The Autopilot kit works with all gas geyser models that use the conventional unitrol-type gas thermostat (a knob with Off, Pilot and On). Most storage geysers in Pakistan, from small 15-gallon units to large family tanks, use this type. Use the checklist below, then send us photos to confirm.

Geysers that do not need the kit
Instant gas geysers usually have battery pulse ignition and light themselves when you open a hot tap. Electric geysers have no flame. Dual geysers can use their element when gas is off, though some owners still fit auto ignition so the gas side restarts by itself.
Fix these first
Auto ignition starts a healthy geyser; it does not repair one. If the tank leaks, the burner is badly corroded, or the thermostat does not control the temperature, have those repaired before fitting the kit. Our troubleshooting guides explain each fault.

Does the brand of my geyser matter?
Less than the type of control. If it uses a conventional unitrol-type gas thermostat, it is compatible whatever the brand. Send a photo to be sure.
Can it be fitted to an old geyser?
Yes, if the tank is sound and the thermostat works. Many customers fit it to older geysers.
